The Women in Construction Group was launched formally on 21 September 2007 at the Hong Kong Club. The Women in Construction Group adds both a new dimension and new thinking to the Club. 

The aim of the Women in Construction Group is to create a forum for new ideas to assist women within the construction industry.  Its regular events allow women a greater opportunity to network with fellow construction professionals.

The Group will support the Club’s charitable work through fundraising initiatives, social networking and educational activities. Thus, the Group furthers the objectives of The Lighthouse Club.

The Group also addresses specific site safety concerns relating to women.
